These hand painted earrings are 8/20 in the Limited Edition range of this painting.
 
Made from an original, large abstract painted, this design concept was created during my micro residency at the Art House, Wakefield.
 
I create large, abstract paintings, inspired by my immedaite environment. The paintings are often bold, bright and textural. 
 
I then carefully select aspects of my paintings to turn into jewellery and in doing so destroy the original painting. Sometime parts of the original painting are selcted and framed. Each limited edition piece of jewellery is unique and can never be re-created.
 
These semi circle earrings are created from the painting 'Midnight' and is a run of 20 pieces of jewellery made from the original image.
 
The dissected painting is mounted onto pieces of laser cut, birch wood. Laser cut in the UK from responsibly sourced birch wood.
 
The painting is cut to fit the semi circle shapes entirely and then sealed under a protective enamel layer. 
 
Attached to silver plated stud style earring posts complete with scroll style, silver plated backs.
 
Colours may vary slightly. Please avoid contact with water. Regular polishing of studs will help prevent against tarnishing.
